Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Metrokane Rabbit Wine Opener Gift Set, Silver

Customer Review: Rabbit
Summary: 5 Stars

Good quality and works as good as any I've ever tried. I like the carrying case to keep all the parts handy.

Customer Review: Great Product!
Summary: 5 Stars

When compared to a traditional cork screw, this one takes a little getting used to. But after a couple of times, it makes opening wine bottles a cinch! And I love that it comes with a case to hold the gadgets when they're not in use.

Customer Review: Works great, but a bit cheesy looking
Summary: 3 Stars

After seeing so many friends and family use theirs, I got one for my wife. The gift set came with some nice extras, and the case makes for convenient storage. However, the "silver" is really just a colored plastic coating on the body, and it's not as classy a finish as the pictures make it look. Other than that, it functions great.

Customer Review: Metrokane Rabbit Wine Opener Gift Set
Summary: 5 Stars

A thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys wine. The wine opener is attractive and sturdy. We have used ours for more than 3 years.
Easy-to-use, pulls any cork easily.
Foilcutter, drip-stop ring, bottle sealer, wax remover, and extra worm included made the set truly useful. The storage case and 10-year warranty made the set even more attactive.
I will order again for an attractive, affordable, useful gift.

Customer Review: What a cool wine opening device
Summary: 4 Stars

I did not know what to expect when I got the Rabbit, but once I read the instructions and used it a couple of time. I discovered what a cool wine opening device it is. It will pull a cork cleanly and smooth from a wine bottle with very little effort. There are not pieces of the cork broken off. Then you can remove the cork from the cork screw smoothly and cleanly. You would think that after 1000s of years of using corks to cap bottles someone would develop an efficient device that would do it easily. Well the rabbit is that device. The only thing I could criticism it for is that it was not offered to me as all metal. That way my relatives could fight over it once I am gone.
